Members and nonmembers are invited to attend. Workshop fees are $35 for members and $45 for nonmembers. For more information regarding supplies, time, and place contact Julia Bowden at johnjuliabowden@yahoo.com. Workshops are held at South Community Center located at 2235 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77380. Classes are from 9:00 am until 3:30 pm. There is a refrigerator and microwave to store and heat your food for the 30-minute lunch.

Please join us in September for a lecture and workshop with David Taylor! David M. Taylor is an internationally recognized, award-winning art quilter currently residing in Fort Collins, Colorado. His highly sought-after works hang in many private collections worldwide.
Wednesday September 4th lecture at the meeting will be 'Artistry through Applique' Discussing how he creates his art quilts that look like paintings.
Thursday September 5th the workshop will be 'Turned Edge Machine Applique' with a fall-themed project 'Pumpkin Time.'
Please note: A kit is required for the workshop and you will need to have a machine that does a blind hem stitch.
