Guild Sponsored Workshops
The January and February workshops we be held at the Living Water Church of Spring, 26910 Aldine Westfield, Spring, TX 77373. It’s a good idea to bring a sack lunch as our lunch break is generally a quick one. Registration for members is $30 and due upon signup. If there are openings one month prior to the workshop, non-guild members may register for the workshop for a $40 fee. JAN 2019- Elizabeth Arellano
Elizabeth Arellano from Savvy Quilters will be visiting on Jan 2nd to present her My Wool Appliqué Journey and then teach an Intro to Wool Appliqué Workshop (3 stitches) on Thursday, Jan 3rd. In addition to the workshop fee, participants will need the $30 kit which will be payable to Elizabeth at the workshop. Come and let Elizabeth share her expertise with you. Your workshop project should be finished before leaving that day!!!
FEB 2019—Scott Flanagan
whose patterns, which are stunning, are often featured in various quilting magazines will share his Quilting Journey (which begins when he was 7) with us during our meeting on Wednesday. Thursday’s workshop will focus on one of his Jelly Roll patterns, Jamaican Stars. This pattern looks as if it were made for batiks! (2/6 & 2/7)
