We work on a variety of projects at our monthly bee meetings, from creating quilt top kits to constructing tops to binding and labeling quilts generously quilted by our guild members. We share techniques and have fun while giving back to our community.
Here is an example (minus the final borders) of a Bear’s Paw top we just finished from donated fabric. We learned different ways of making half-square triangles and used an on-point layout with no cornerstones so the paws seem to “float”.
Our Community Quilts group meets regularly from 9 am – 3 pm every 2nd Friday of the month at the Community Center. Please feel free to drop in and see what we’re working on next! We welcome new members anytime.
